The M,O,C, in Munich combines all the advantages of trade fair
halls, congress centers and conference hotels and consequently provides
a lot more than just a conventional event center. Since the founding of
M,O,C, in 1993, this unique concept has become solidly established
among organizers, exhibitors and visitors, so that the fourth-million
visitor could already be welcomed in October 2006. The conception of
M,O,C, is known far beyond the borders of Germany in the meantime and
serves as a model worldwide. Many new event centers already use the
existing know-how of the M,O,C, staff and Messe München for
constructing and operating new trade fair and congress sites.
Flexible Room Concept and Individual Solutions The
Munich M,O,C, Event Center provides a flexible room concept for
individual event planning on approx. 30,000 square meters of event
space. For example, it has four separate but combinable trade fair
halls with an exhibition overall area of 15,000 square meters. Six
bright conference and seminar rooms for up to 400 persons can be used
during trade fairs or parallel to events.
Intelligent Showroom Exhibition Concept The
showroom exhibition concept of M,O,C, Event Center is unique. 135
individual room units on two levels are grouped around the atriums
flooded with light, which can be used as presentation or exhibition
areas. Under the motto of “Arrive, unpack, exhibit”, long
and involved booth setup is unnecessary in the large, ready-to-use
presentation rooms with sizes between 50 and 550 square meters, because
the showrooms are completely equipped with presentation shelves,
carpets, electric outlets and lighting. The showroom exhibition concept
provides organizers with an extremely high degree of flexibility and
great value for their money. The rooms can be converted into trade fair
booths, training rooms, presentation areas or workshop units in line
with needs within a very short time. The bright atrium serves as an
open marketplace and communication center as well as an area for
events, congresses or trade fairs.
Effective Marketing and Competent Service Partner As an
event specialist of many years, M,O,C, supports its customers in the
areas of marketing and press work. Publishing events on the webpages of
Messe München and the M,O,C, has proved to be an effective
marketing tool for organizers; the same applies to the M,O,C, schedule
sheet, traffic routing signs in Munich and on-site advertising of the
trade fairs, meetings or congresses. In addition, the M,O,C, staff
supports organizers in their press work and provides them with advice
and support. Help is provided in writing press releases before and
after events if requested, and the press releases are written in
collaboration and customized for representatives of the daily, business
and trade media. A comprehensive press database makes it possible to
send event information to the right people. As part of its association
with Messe München, M,O,C, works with a wide network of service
partners in the areas of booth construction, rental furniture and
cleaning.
Thanks to the existing internal and external infrastructure of the
event center from flexible room layouts to optimum technical facilities
and all the way to excellent transport links, M,O,C, has become
established as an ideal development center for new events over the past
years. Golf Europe, the commercial real estate trade fair Expo Real and
the International Trade Fair for Ophthalmology OPTI celebrated their
premiers in M,O,C, and now take place on the grounds of the New Munich
Trade Fair Centre thanks to the significant growth of their needs for
